Lunch @ Watami Japanese Casual Restaurant, One Utama

Yesterday I went to One Utama shopping mall with my sis to do last minute pre-CNY shopping. We managed to catch a movie before our lunch, and it was around 3pm only we started to feel the hunger.

We walked pass a restaurant which replaces Italiannies Pasta Pizza restaurant, there were not many people around and I guessed was due to the odd hour. My sis suddenly remembered her friend actually recommended this fusion style Japanese restaurant, thus we decided to give it a try.

The menu

Chicken Katsu Don. We added the egg ourselves when the sauce & gravy start to boil. We were so 'chicken hand duck leg' (Cantonese), the waiter then lend us a helping hand, lol.

The steaming hot chicken katsu, but I'll rate it with higher mark if the chicken skin not so thick & fat. RM17.90

Okonomi Satsuma RM14.90- This is really tasty and delicious! Different from the ordinary Okonomiyaki where the base is made from flour , this is made from fish cake. The waiter actually recommended this to us because we don't eat beef, the main ingredient in their signature Okonomiyaki. I love this okonomi satsuma a lot, suddenly wanna learn to cook this myself, lol

Anago maki RM16.90- Tempura eel sushi, not very special but taste good

Irodori Unagi RM7.90- delicious! but too small portion ><

We finished our meal with matcha parfait RM11.90, so satisfying!

Wanna learn more about Watami? This is it's official website. It actually has set menu for 2 & 4, where you can enjoy japanese style salad or pizza, sushi, hotpot, dessert etc... I'll definitely go back to try it next time.

Outing @ Laundry Bar, The Curve, Mutiara Damansara

On Friday night, I had a gathering with my ex-colleague in One Utama, then we headed to Laundry Bar, The Curve to have a drink. I am very stressed lately, so some occasional alcohol drink helps to ease my tension.

We ordered the house red wine, the taste is ok only, not comparable to those red wines brought back by my uncle.
My friends, 2 cute and pretty ladies.

As the big eater Jess kept grumbling she's still very hungry despite taken dinner at Sushi Zanmai, we decided to order snacks, lol. The cheesy potato wedges look tempting, but trust me, it's extremely ordinary and I prefer KFC wedges than this.

Fried onion rings, this is quite good, but oily as expected. The sauce is tasty too.

Treasure Box & Smoked Salmon Aglio Olio @ Paddington House of Pancakes, The Curve, Mutiara Damansara

Tomorrow is the first day of work in 2012, before we start work & school, me and my sisters went to The Curve this afternoon to do shopping. We planned to enjoy a set of afternoon tea set at Winter Warmers, and drink my favourite rose milk tea. I was then really really sad to find out that this restaurant already closed down and to be replaced with an unknown new shop later! I really hope that the restaurant is being relocated and not close down. :(

Anyway, we went to Paddington House of Pancakes instead to have late lunch. The restaurant was full, but we manage to find a good spot near a corner.

I ordered this- Smoked Salmon Aglio Olio. RM16.50. I love it a lot, wanna try to make this next weekend. Since next time I'll be very free during weekends, I want to learn how to cook delicious food, hehe.

Bright Eyes- Fresh fruit juice, blend of orange, strawberries and carrot. RM9.50. Expensive and not that nice, next time I'll order plain water only.

ImmuneZoom- My sis ordered this, not sure what's inside, but the taste also very ordinary. RM9.50.

This is our favourite- Treasure Box. You can find ice-cream, chopped bananas, strawberries, raisins, peaches and mini pancakes in it. Topped with some crunched ground nuts and maple syrup (you add your own syrup, we poured very little only) . Very delicious and tasty, but I think I can make it on my own, just that the pancakes I make won't be mini in size, haha.

I've always been thinking: What is the first thing I'll do when I have received my Digi iPhone 4S. Will I start exploring the smart phone once I grab it in my hand? Will I start spending endless hours talking to Siri and playing Q&A sessions with him? Or maybe the first thing come into my mind is to snap a few photos with the in-built 8 mega pixels camera?

The answer is NO! The first thing I'll do is post a Thank You blog to Digi, Nuffnang, Steve Jobs & Apple.

Without Digi, I won't be able to get the iPhone 4S for free and have fun using this smartest smart phone. As a loyal Digi customer and current user of Digi Smart Plan 48, I've always been enjoying the service a lot. DiGi iPhone 4SURE 4 ME

I want a iPhone 4S badly, especially when most of my surrounding friends are using this fashionable, handy and cool smart phone! When it is announced to be officially launched in Malaysia early December, I already planned to get one for myself. However, due to financial constraints I still yet to buy one until now. I've bought Samsung android phone in September 2011, but it brings me lots of problem recently.

Being a pharmacist, I need to access to drug information apps quite often. However, I've been experiencing problems such as apps have to be forced close down. This is super annoying and irritating!
Above is the annoying notification I'll get when I try to open a few apps concurrently. The phone become slow and laggy, then this notification will be popped up and I've to close the whole app eventually. I'll then have to open the app again and again, slowly wait for 5-10 minutes before I could use it. This is definitely very inconvenient especially when I need to search for drug information during emergency cases. I need a good smart phone which does not give me this problem, and the first thing come into my mind is iPhone 4S.

iPhone 4S is operated by iOS 5, the most advanced computer operating system for mobile. This gives iPhone 4S its fast performance with great stability. It allows user to do multitasking with multiple different apps open and running at the same time. The phone won't be laggy and snail slow like other android phones. Besides, the power-efficient A5 chip and iOS 5 of iPhone 4S give it a long battery life.Unlike my current android phone where I've to charge it 2 times a day, iPhone 4S has longer lasting battery. I do not have to find a port to charge my mobile phone when I'm not at home. Finding port to charge my phone has caused hassles in my life! For example, last week when I was doing full day locum at Midvalley, my android phone suddenly die off. I do not have the habit of wearing watch but rely solely on my mobile to check the time. On that miserable day, I had to borrow charger from my colleague and charge my phone near the counter, thank god she brought her charger. I didn't expect it to happen since the phone was fully charged the previous night.

I hope nuffnang and Digi give me the chance to win an iPhone 4S. I love to blog on my daily experience and share photos with online friends and readers. Sadly to say, the android phone I'm using currently couldn't take photo with good quality. The photo usually dull in colour and not sharp. That day I used my sister's iPhone 4 to snap photos and make comparison with my android phone, and the result is convincing that iPhone 4 can snap better images.

When I look at the photos above, I feel that I want a iPhone 4S NOW. I like to share photos with others, and I hope to share photos which are good in quality. By using iPhone 4 (5- megapixel) the image taken already much better than android, I'm sure iPhone 4S with 8-megapixel camera & 1080p HD video recording will sure not disappointing me!

I also want iPhone 4S as I need a personal assistant like Siri. I'm a very forgetful person and tend to forget the day I've to work locum or night shifts. Last wednesday I've to take EL because I forgot to set alarm the previous night and overslept. With the help of iPhone 4S Siri, I'll be reminded for important dates and avoid those hassles. In addition, Siri can help a person who does not have sense of direction like me. He'll tell me about my current location and help me reach my destination in time. This is especially vital for a KL person who always lost her way in KL like myself, haha.

Let me have an iPhone 4S, so I can let it wear nice clothing. My current android phone does not have a beautiful protective case, have been searching around but very very limited choice available in Malaysia. Although my phone is comparatively new, but it looks aged and dirty because of the case.

My poor phone with no new and nice clothes. The case turned grayish few weeks after using it, but I've yet to find a new one.

If I've iPhone 4S, I'll decorate it like the photo above. There're just so many varieties of iPhone casing and charger available in Malaysia. You can easily get a nice and elegant one!

I want iPhone 4S badly, and I hope it's 4sure for me! ;)

DiGi iPhone 4SURE MOST AFFORDABLE

Have anyone of you got the latest iPhone 4S? It's the most fashionable and popular smart phones at this century, thanks to the late Steve Jobs and Apple. With iPhone 4S, you can have a personal assistant named Siri, your most reliable friend, companion and personal diary. ^^

With the iPhone 4S in hand, I'm sure all of you would like to sign up for data plan. A smart phone without data plan just lack of something, you won't be able to surf net anytime and anywhere you like, but only depends on the availability of WiFi.

After doing a thorough research online, I've come to this conclusion that Digi offers the most affordable iPhone 4S plan in Malaysia. In Malaysia, Digi, Maxis and Celcom are telecommunications companies which currently offering this device. Let's do some comparisons below and you will sure agree with my above statement.

First of all , I would like to compare between Digi and Maxis iPhone 4S plans. The lowest montly fee of Maxis goes to iValue 1, with the monthly fee of RM100. As for Digi, the lowest monthly fee goes to iDigi 55 (with auto billing), but I would like to make comparisons between iValue 1 and iDigi138 (with auto billing) as the price difference in monthly fee is smaller, with are RM100 and RM88 respectively.

By looking at table 1, you can see that Digi plan is very much more affordable than iValue plans. Although the phone price is more expensive with Digi plan, but the monthly commitment of Digi is lower with much better package throughout the 24 months contract period. You pay RM88 per month, but you get to make 450min free calls, send 400 free SMS and 40 free MMS to any network operators for FREE. You can enjoy up to 3GB local data without extra charge being imposed even if you exceeded the quota. What if you make calls more than 450 mins (7.5 hours) ? No problem, Digi only charge you 12sen / min for the extra calls you have made, the cheapest rate among all the telecommunication companies in Malaysia!!!

If you sign up for the iValue 1 plan, please bear in mind that the so called 200 free SMS and 20 MMS is only within Maxis users. If all your friends, family members, colleagues etc are Maxis users, then it doesn't matter. But do you think this is possible? LOL. Another very important thing to take note is the extra charge of data usage if you exceeded the data quota. You will be charged by Maxis at the rate of RM0.05/10KB, with the maximum charged of RM250! My friend paid RM250+ /per month because he has exceeded the data usage although the monthly fee supposingly to be RM100+ (including 6% service tax). It's very disturbing and inconvenient for us to monitor the monthly data usage especially if you rely on internet a lot, be it work wise or entertainment wise. Why you want to make your life miserable when Digi plan has promised no extra charges in these circumstances?

Now we move on to compare the plans offered by Digi and Celcom. Again, I choose to make comparison between i98 (Celcom plan) and iDigi 138 because the monthly fees are comparible, RM98 and RM88 ( with auto billing) respectively.

By looking at Table 2, you will find out that the coverage of these 2 packages are quite similar. Both of these do not impose extra charges if you were to use more than the monthly data quota. However, by paying a mere RM88 per month to Digi, you get to enjoy 3GB of local data. On the other hand, you only get to enjoy 2GB of local data with this Celcom plan. When you have exceeded the quota, the speed will slow down and you won't be able to enjoy your youtube movies, facebook chitchatting etc anymore. If you sign up the i98 plan, you can make 6000min free calls to any Celcom numbers, but you only get 100 mins free calls to other network. Unless all your contacts are Celcom numbers, I find this offer very impractical.Will you spend 100 hours a month making calls to Celcom numbers, but only make 1.66 hour calls to other numbers? The 60000 mins look impressive, but it's just a tactic to attract people who do not study the plan in depth. If you have exceeded the 100 mins, you have to pay 15sen / min, more expensive than 12sen / min by Digi. Both i98 and iDigi 138 offer FREE SMS and MMS to any network operators, but the number of free SMS and MMS by Digi are 2 times higher than Celcom plan. Therefore, Digi plan is much more affordable than Celcom although the phone price is higher.

In case anyone of you do not realize, Digi does not require any upfront payment but Maxis and Celcom do require advance payment which will then be rebated later. In conclusion, Digi iPhone is for sure the most affordable data plan in Malaysia. Do not hesitate anymore, go to any nearest Digi store now to sign up for a plan and grab the latest fashionable iPhone 4S!

前天跟个JUNIOR到诊所附近的茶室吃午餐,忘了茶室的名字,其实很多时候到茶室吃饭我都不怎么留意它的店名,哈哈. 叫了碟咖哩猪肠粉(咖哩肠粉), 蛮好吃的,咖哩汁也不会太咸.

My DIY Simple Tuna Salad

Last week I went to my ex-colleague's house at Damansara Villa for a gathering. We ate steamboat, tuna salad, apple salad, watermelon in ginger wine etc. All of the food are self-prepared and own cooked, except for the chocolate moist cake which I bought from TK brothers, haha. After trying the tuna salad made by my friend, I decided to give it a try since I plan to loose weight before chinese new year, yeah, I know I plan to do this every year and never succeeded... ><

Anyway, I went to Tropicana City Mall this morning to buy those ingredients needed to make the tuna salad. Actually initially I planned to make spicy tuna salad after trying the extremely yummy one at Black Canyon, Pai, Thailad. However, I do not have the recipe, and I think I better try a simpler salad first before I go on to a more advance stage, hehe.

Below are ingredients needed to make this simple tuna salad
1) Tuna in Virgin Olive Oil (I bought TC Boy brand)
2) Cherry tomatoes
3) Onion
4) Green/Red Bell Pepper
5) Butterhead lettuce
6) Egg
7) Freshly squeezed lemon juice
8) Black pepper
9) Mayonnaise (not too much)
10) Thousand Island sauce (Optional, I didn't use this)

Actually I plan to add olive but couldn't find it today. Besides, add in crab stick, sausages and feta will make the salad more tasty. But I plan to make a SIMPLE and HEALTHY salad, so I omit these few ingredients, haha.

Shuang BBQ Steamboat Buffet @ Dataran Sunway, Kota Damansara

Few months ago, I've tried BBQ Steamboat at a restaurant named Shuang at Dataran Sunway, Kota Damansara. It's a steamboat buffet, we paid around RM25/person (Adult). Just wanna share some photos taken at that place.

The restaurant is relatively new at Kota Damansara. The environment is clean compared to other steamboat buffet restaurants.

Many types of cold beverages for you to choose from. I love the lemon green tea a lot, a good drink to quench your thirst especially after eaten so many BBQ food.

My First Try on Kinohimitsu Japan Collagen Diamond 5300 Drink

I've tried Meiji Collagen in 2009, then stopped for 1 year. Early this year I purchased another can of Meiji Collagen through ebay, but again, I failed to finish the one month supply, only consumed for a continuous 5-6 nights and abandoned it. I dislike the taste very very much, maybe because I hate milk, but to me the taste is worst than milk. When I added slightly more water, the whole thing became bitter...

Since few weeks ago I've made up my mind to try those famous collagen drink available in the market nowadays. One of my friends manage to get staff price for cell lab sheep placenta, but I don't wanna take capsule form of any supplement. After much considerations, I decided to try kinohimitsu collagen drink.

Last weekend when I was working as locum at Aeon, I bought this Kinohimitsu Japan Collagen Diamond 5300 Drink. With the help the section leader, I manage to get some discount using Jcard. With the addition of 5% rebate by using Maybank Dual Card- Amex, I paid around RM136 for one box of this collagen drink, with 16 bottles in it.

This is how it looks like! The taste is so much better than powder form ^^ It taste like concentrated fruit juice, nicer if it's chilled before you drink it.

There's a contest form in it, but the closing date already over. ~~ I lack of luck in this kind of contest, so I don't really mind.

*How to take Kinohimitsu Japan Collagen Diamond 5300 Drink?

1) 1 bottle a day, preferably before breakfast or bedtime.

2) Shake well before drinking.

3) Keep chilled for a delicious taste.

4) First-time users: 1 bottle a day for a consecutive period of 6 days.

Light Meal @ The Ship, Damansara Uptown

Last weekend, I've taken a light meal at The Ship, Damansara Utama Uptown branch. That's the first time I didn't not order main course like Chicken Chop or Fish & Chips. I had taken a heavy and filling brunch + tea before I stepped into The Ship for dinner, thus I opted for a light meal instead.

I ordered a mushroom soup with garlic breads. The garlic breads at The Ship, Damansara Uptown has never disappoint me throughout the many times of ordering. It has the BEST garlic breads! Usually the soup is up to standard too, but there was once I found it to be tasteless.

We also ordered Chicken Salad & The ship Salad. To me the salad is quite ordinary, nothing special that you must give it a try. Overall the taste is not bad, especially the potato salad.

Lunch @ Hokkaido Ichiba (Kita no Zen), One Utama Shopping Centre

Last Sunday, I went to One Utama shopping mall with my sisters for shopping and lunch. I really appreciate my weekend nowadays, especially on days that I no need to work locum/extended hours. We planned to dine in at Hokkaido Ichiba (Kita no Zen)as suggested by my eldest sister as she knows we love Japanese food!

We decided to have early lunch/brunch to avoid the usual long queue. That's the first time we tried Hokkaido Ichiba in One Utama, as it's newly opened, very near to the relocated KFC. We did try Hokkaido Ichiba in the Gardens, Midvalley mega mall and the queue is always very very long. It's under the same management as Sushi Zanmai, but of a more high class version I suppose. The decoration is nice, looks more grand than Sushi Zanmai.

Ice Green Tea - Free of Charge. The service is good, we get green tea refill many times without being requested, and is FOC.

Cranky Salmon Maki, very tasty!! The salmon is fresh and juicy. RM16.00

I just couldn't stop from eating it, one after another.

Turkey Cheese Okonomiyaki , much much more nicer than the one I tried at Sushi Zanmai, the Gardens, Midvalley. This one is fully seasoned with sauce and mayonnaise, yum yum ^^ The okonomiyaki is served hot, with bonita flakes dancing on top of it. ^^

前几天到戏院看了九把刀的<那些年我们一起追的女孩> You Are The Apple Of My Eye, 很好看感人的一部电影. 90年代的背景,觉得有种熟悉感,那年代流行的NBA,闪卡,明星,都是我小六时流行的东西. 突然想起之前看阿牛的<初恋红豆冰>,也是有种共鸣感.觉得自己特别喜欢这种题材的电影,有种遗憾美.

喜欢这电影的选角,虽然不是什么大牌演员,但这更有真实感.演员的表现不错,尤其是女主角,演得很自然. 更喜欢戏里的对白,记得沈佳宜那句: 人生本来就有很多事是徒劳无功的啊...突然有种很深的感触,电影结尾前再倒述回那一幕,莫名地就会有种感慨,为主角的错过而觉得可惜,遗憾. 因为缺乏勇气,信心不足, 他不敢踏出一步,而之前的努力都白费了. 可能只有错过的东西才会特别珍惜,特别令人回味吧...

Novomin (Dimenhydrinate) - The Medicine for Motion Sickness/Travel Sickness

Everytime when I do locum at retail pharmacy, there'll be customers asking for some pills to prevent motion sickness, also known as travel sickness. One of the commonly used medicine is Novomin (Dimenhydrinate) 50MG by Xepa-Soul Pattinson, to be taken half an hour before the journey. Personally I've never tried this medicine before, as it can cause drowsiness, one of the side effects which I don't like to experience especially during travel period. However, some people would rather feel sleepy than nauseated or dizzy.

During my last visit to Chiangmai, we went to a place called Pai. It takes around 4-5 hours drive from Chiangmai and the road condition is known to be winding and bad. Maybe due to this reason, I saw some cute dimenhydrinate tablets being sold at one of the souvenir shop. Yes, you didn't hear me wrongly, is sold at a souvenir shop by a shopkeeper, not in a registered pharmacy store by pharmacist.

Each tablet is packed individually with adorable and creative designed. Nicely arranged and displayed on the wall. Initially I thought they are some key chains. @@

Only the ingredient and strength are stated, no expiry date. Em, I wonder is there any tourist who will like to try this. But frankly speaking, I love the design a lot, quite regret for not buying one as souvenir, haha

I don't understand Thai language, but I'm certain they are not instructions on how to take this med, lol.

在SERI KEMBANGAN上班的日子- 美食篇（二）

不知不觉在Seri Kembangan上班快2个月了，时间过得真快啊。昨天中午，我跟一个JUNIOR到喜来登酒楼吃午餐，这是我第2次到那吃饭，之前跟同事去那点菜吃饭，而这次只有2个人，我们打算叫小样的东西吃。JUNIOR一直跟我说那儿的炒饭超好吃的，她和家人都很喜欢，不会太油腻，味道很香。

我们到那时是午餐时间，虽然人多，但因为地方宽敞，所以挺舒适的。店家的人跟我们介绍食物，我们要了两盅‘厨王炒饭’，一人一盅，要至少点2盅他们才会准备这道食物。本来还担心会吃不完，但JUNIOR一听到这道炒饭就兴奋地直说：这个好，我要我要！！！让我觉得不得不试一试。

他们还说那时段有点心，我们觉得在午餐时刻吃点心感觉怪怪的，所以只叫了碟煎萝卜糕试试。

一碟煎萝卜糕RM3.80，味道不错，但觉得虾米不怎么够，应该多加点，呵。但我喜欢它的口感，表面煎得很香脆，而用来沾着吃的辣酱也很惹味，应该是他们自制的。

吃到一半时，我们的厨王炒饭被端上桌了，一阵扑鼻香！盅的下头有小火，所以整盘饭热气腾腾，吃到最后一口时，饭还是温温的。我到那一刻才知道原来那是盅海鲜炒饭，而且材料很丰富。有几颗小鲍鱼（鲍鱼仔），新鲜爽脆的虾肉，鲜甜的去壳蟹肉（不是蟹肉条），鱼籽等。而旁边小碟盛着的是炒干贝，把它加在炒饭里搅拌均匀一块吃，味道真的特别好。每一口饭都充满海鲜味，难得的是那饭一点都不油腻，又不会太咸，非常值得一试。
一盅个人份的厨王炒饭RM8，非常值得吃，因为在外头华人餐厅吃个杂饭都要RM4.50-RM5.50。在喜来登吃这，环境舒适有冷气，而材料也很新鲜美味，值得推荐。我们还帮个同事打包苦瓜煎蛋加白饭，RM10，太贵了，不值得吃，可惜不能打包厨王炒饭。

快乐下厨记（一）马铃薯焖烧肉，高汤炒青菜，柠檬鸡

近来我突然心血来潮想学煮饭，学中式菜肴，所以今天终于下定决心好好跟妈妈学习。其实以前在TEMERLOH租房子时也有下厨的习惯，但只在ON-CALL没回KL的日子才下厨，或偶尔下班后吃腻了外头的食物才进厨房煮一煮。我和同屋的朋友都不会煮饭，只会简单得煮面或煎蛋。后来我跟另一班人住在一起，开始对下厨有兴趣了。我那时最常煲汤，是广东人的老火汤，偶尔我们也会弄个火锅大餐请别的同事到家里来聚餐，那时我们还会跟着节日变换而有不同的搞作，呵呵，比如说在冬至时煮汤圆糖水，那锅加了姜热腾腾的糖水真美味。。。

后来，我TRANSFER回KL后就没再下厨了。。。再加上近来有做LOCUM就更加没时间去学习。但最近我又想开始学下厨了，想学中式菜肴，因为在外头都是些西式菜肴烹饪班，我觉得我还是较喜欢华人的食物，哈哈。今天比较空闲，我就趁这机会进厨房大显身手了，哈哈。

第一道菜是马铃薯焖烧肉，我最喜欢的菜式。先将马铃薯油炸后，再放进锅里焖煮。用了蒜头爆香，加点绍兴酒，麻油，加上买回来的烧肉和附带的酱汁，整锅菜就很香了。再加了些糖中和烧肉的咸，一点葱头油，一道菜肴很快就煮好了，前后不需要30分钟。

大家都说很美味，马铃薯焖煮得软软的，但却不会烂，跟烧肉一起吃真下饭。

第二道菜是柠檬鸡。先把鸡炸好后再调那酱汁，也是很简单，但炸鸡要比较花时间。要调那酱汁也不困难，用了一粒柠檬和一粒鲜橙的汁，再加点酸梅酱和糖。（因为有加了别的酱，总觉得这道菜肴应该改名字，嗯。。。）。记得在酱汁里加点玉米淀粉才下锅煮，让那酱汁稠一点。也可以加点蚝油，但别放太多。

先炸鸡，后淋上酱汁。

酸梅酱

在煮酱汁时，可以另外加几片柠檬下锅一起煮一会。

接下来是今天学的第三道菜，很简单，但很健康及美味。先把几样青菜切片用，加点油在水里烫煮一下（黄芽白除外）。先把烫煮好的菜几黄芽白放一边，在另外的炒锅里加点油，爆香蒜头和姜片。把青菜放下锅，加点鱼露，大概50ML的高汤（事先煲好的鸡汤，份量可以因青菜的份量而改变），一点绍兴酒，大概炒一两下，美味的青菜就可以上桌了。

今天煮菜很有成就感，接下来还要多努力!! ^^

Bubble Milk Tea Drink @ Chatime, Uptown, Damansara Utama

Yesterday I went to Chatime, Uptown Damansara to take away bubble tea. I've been craving for bubble milk tea since I first tried it in mid-1990's,couldn't recall the exact year, but was way before Quickly & Happy Cup became famous in Singapore & Malaysia (these 2 brands were famous in 2002-2004, then eventually all the outlets closed down too). I still could remember the owner was a Taiwanese Lady, she could speak fluent mandarin and cook delicious food. The restaurant , located at Uptown, was closed down few years later and replace with another restaurant now. :(

Anyway, last night I suddenly had this crave and went to Chatime, first time step into that outlet since its first opening in August 2011. This outlet is not crowded like the Chatime branch in the Gardens, Midvalley, thus is a better place for people who dislike long queue like me. I'll start to loose patience if I were to queue up for more than 15mins just to order a drink.

We ordered Pearl Milk Tea (Regular) 50% sugar, Chatime Milk Tea (Regular) 30% sugar & Uji Matcha Milk Tea (Regular) 30% sugar. While waiting for them to prepare the drink, we waited at a corner with cushions. This place is very comfortable, with air-con and strong fan, a good place to chit chat with frenz and surf the net. (free WiFi) The deco is simple but nice, and the slightly dim yellow light give us some privacy too.

They use Queue Management System (QMS), so we can easily know when it's our turn.

Dinner @ Champ's Bistro, Centrepoint Bandar Utama

Although I'm staying very near to Centrepoint, I've never been to this restaurant called Champ's Bistro. It serves non-halal food, and always receive very good comments and reviews from food bloggers. Last week, we went to this place for dinner, as my friend's birthday treat. It was not our initial plan t0 dine in at this place. We wanted to have balinese food @ Water Lily, but changed our plan to avoid the massive traffic jam on that particular day.

Here we are, Champ's Bistro.

I ordered my favourite drink, ice lemon tea.

Signature fish head noodle soup. The soup is different from the ordinary style where some spices are added into it, slightly spicy. My friend ate prawn noodles, the most famous dish from this restaurant, but I didn't go for it as I'm lazy to eat big prawns, haha.

I ordered seafood spaghetti, if you cannot take hot & spicy food, I'll advice you not to try this! For me, I love it a lot since I enjoy eating spicy food. Lot's of sea food in it, they are using the real crab meat and not crab stick.

The special char siew for that night, roasted pork with honey, very nice!

Crispy pork, delicious too!

We ended our meal with teh tarik kurang manis at the Banana Leaf Restaurant nearby. ^^

Suchan Bakery Specialty Cakes @ The Curve, Mutiara Damansara

Have anyone of you heard of Suchan Bakery Cakes? I've never come across about it until my sis bought the 44% off voucher from Groupon Malaysia. According to the online review, Suchan serves award-wining cakes and one of it specialties is Tiramisu. Tiramisu has been my all time favourite cake since long time ago, so it's a must try for me, and it is also highly recommended by the shop worker. We redeemed the voucher at The Curve outlet, the shop located at the link bridge, near to Sanctuary & McDonald.

Very comfortable and spacious , a good spot for friend gathering & chit-chats.

The place is not noisy and crowded like Secret Recipe, so customer can enjoy the tranquil & peaceful moment.

We went there after a heavy meal, so we decided to take away those cakes. Although there was only a female worker that night, she was very polite and greeted us with a warm smile, despite being extremely busy. She apologized for slow serving, but we waited for less than 10 minutes only. We have chosen Banana Torte, Tiramisu, Carrot Cake & Strawberry Paviova after much considerations.

The signature Tiramisu is really good, I'll definitely go back for another piece. Besides, I love the Banana Torte too!!! Love the layer of crunchy pecan, chocolate chips & banana slices, yummy~ The carrot cake is slightly too sweet for my liking, but anyone who loves carrot cake should give it a try too. For the strawberry paviova, I find it a bit too soft and don't really enjoy eating it. Maybe I should have chosen the Rum & Raisins cake instead. The original price for each slice of cake is RM10.90, more costly than other famous bakery shops! Thanks for Groupon for the discount, lol~ Btw, if you have Citibank credit cards, you'll get 20% off during weekends.

Health Products Huo Li Bao Capsule 500MG & HB' Lite Have Been Withdrawn!!!

According to The Star Online news, 2 health products registered in Malaysia - HUO LI BAO CAPSULE 500MG and HB' LITE have been withdrawn from the market.

"On another matter, he said two capsules touted as health products - Huo Li Bao and HB Lite - have been withdrawn from the market as they were found to be unsafe for use.

He said they were withdrawn on Sept 26 after they were found to contain additives prohibited from use in traditional products.

Dr Hasan said people who have been using these products should stop doing so immediately and seek the advice of a health professional.

"Anyone holding stocks of these products is advised to immediately stop their sale, distribution and use as they are liable to prosecution under the Control of Drugs and Cosmetics Regulations 1984," he added. "

"Huo Li Bao was found to contain frusemide and chlorpheniramine while HB Lite was found to contain promethazine," he said in a statement.

Dr Hasan, who is also chairman of the Drug Control Authority, said frusemide or furosemide is a diuretic drug used to reduce swelling resulting from edema and its use can cause serious side effects such as fluid and electrolyte imbalances in the body.

Chlorpheniramine, he said, is an antihistamine drug used in treatments associated with allergic reactions and can cause side effects such as drowsiness and dryness of the mouth that can lead to chronic lung disease. He also said that promethazine contained in HB Lite can cause side effects such as fatal respiratory depression. "It can also cause Neuroleptic Malignant Syndrome," he added.

As shown above, the registration numbers end with TC, which means they are registered as traditional complementary medicine in Malaysia. Frusemide, a commonly used diuretic is group under Poison B, which means it can only be prescribed by a registered medical practitioner (doctor). Chlorpheniramine and Promethazine are both antihistamines under Poison C, which can only be prescribed by a registered medical practitioner or sold by a licensed pharmacist. Consuming the above 3 products without proper monitoring can lead to serious side effects and possibly death. By the way, promethazine is contraindicated in children less than 2 years old.

Huo Li Bao is commonly used to treat arthritis pain.

c) Chlorpheniramine is a type of antihistamine used in allergic reactions, such as hay fever, rhinitis, urticaria, and asthma. Side effects from unsupervised use of chlorpheniramine include drowsiness, confusion and urinary retention.
d) Frusemide is a potent diuretic drug that is used to eliminate water and salt from the body. It can cause a profound increase in the output of urine (diuresis). Excessive diuretic effect of frusemide can cause the depletion of sodium, chloride, body water and other minerals in the body.

For the past few days I feel really exhausted and tired, and couldn't sleep well during night time. When I think of myself will be fully in-charged of store soon, I feel more depressed. Few months back, we gave our friend a birthday dinner treat at My CookBook, Sunway Giza Mall. It's recommended by my friend because there're always many people during dinner time.

I like the sour plum juice. The ice itself is made from sour plum juice too, so it won't be diluted even after the ice's melted. Remind me of those fruit pop stick ice-cream that I used to eat during childhood time. :)

mozzarella cheese balls- yummy ^^

My Signature Fried Chicken with Lemon Grass Mayo Potato and Crispy Salad. I like the chicken, not only crispy but it has a very nice blend of herbs & spice fragrance. The salad and potato is delicious too, a bit sour due to the presence of lemon, excellent ^^

Black Glutinous Rice with Pumpkin Puree and Homemade Durian Ice-cream. It's tasty and the pumpkin paste not too sweet, but the ice-cream melted too fast...

Overall, the food at My CookBook is delicious with good presentation, but I find it too costly for the portion it served. Can give it a try if you wanna try some homemade cuisine.

Bueng Pai Farm Fishing Park and Bungalows @ Pai, Thailand

Just back from 5 days trip at Chiangmai and Pai, thailand. Pai is at the northern part of thailand, it's a peaceful and relaxing place which I enjoy the most for this trip. We stayed at Bueng Pai Farm Fishing Park and Bungalows, it's not located at the Pai town, so you need a bike/bicycle/car for easy accessibility.

Bueng Pai Farm is owned by Orn and Run. It has lovely paddy fields and beautiful scenery.

This place is highly recommended by me. The environment is lovely, relaxing and the owners are hilarious, helpful & friendly. Mr. Run provided us free transportation from and to airport. The food is delicious and prepared using fruits/vege planted by them. Just that you have to wait patiently as they already state that slow food is served, not fast food. The only drawback of staying here is the water pump of shower in our room is not powerful enough, water volume is small and we need more time to take shower. Free wifi is provided but not that stable. Other than this, Bueng Pai Farm is a perfect place to stay in Pai. By the way, 4 of us only have to pay 3200 baht for 3 days 2 nights stay, inclusive of the 2 days breakfast.

不知不觉在新的地方上班已经来到第四天了。这里的环境跟过去CHERAS那间真是天渊之别。地方大很多，可能是刚装修过的关系吧。再加上Seri Kembangan是华人地区，诊所外面就有很多茶室了，走几步路就到，方便得很。

昨天同事带我到附近的茶室吃著名的鱼头米粉，果然很美味。汤很浓很‘甜’，应该是熬了不少时间吧。我选炸鱼头，骨比较多，但肉很爽脆，我喜欢。同事选鱼滑，下次我要试试。那儿的服务不错，而且很快就端上来了，省下不少时间。环境有点闷热，可能是人多加上鱼头米很烫，我们吃到一直冒汗。

好吃！一碗要RM7，不便宜，但值得一试。

这是SAMBAL，跟米粉一块吃特别美味。

今天中午有多一位同事和我们去吃午餐，所以我们到诊所外面的喜来登叫菜吃饭，也是很出名的一间酒楼，我家老一辈的人都知道。我们都不太会点菜，就随便选了几样，味道都不赖！

这是一人份的汤，每人一碗。里面有鸡肉，‘老黄瓜’，吊片等。。。就是那种很滋润的老火汤。

招牌豆腐，也很好吃。用那汁配饭，可以吃好大一碗。

我们还点了梅菜排骨配馒头，那馒头很软，还热乎乎的，可是我没拍照，懒惰了，因为太饿的关系？哈哈。。。

My Samsung Galaxy Ace S5830- Comparison with iPhone 4- Part 1

Finally, I've bought my first smart phone. Last saturday I went to SS2, planning to get a new iPhone 4 using Digi Plan. However, when I stepped into the Digi centre, there was only one customer service officer who's available to explain the plan + package to us. With the whole lot of people inside that store, we waited for quite some time and not been approached properly. So I ended up buying Samsung Galaxy Ace from the Trans Mobile shop nearby, a shop which we have been frequent and I like the after-sale service provided. The phone price was RM899 in august, I did survey the price after I back from Sabah trip. However the price has been marked up to RM950 due to shortage of stock by Samsung + raya holiday period. In the end I bought the phone at the price of RM930. I signed up the Digi Postpaid Smart Plan 48, with 1G unlimited mobile internet/month. The good thing is I'm not under contract, so I can switch to other plan or company if I'm dissatisfied with the current provider. So far the service is ok.

This phone comes with a microSD card with 2 GB storage, very small compared to iPhone 16GB/32GB, but so far is still enough for me. Maybe have to get a 32GB card next time for my phone, lol. The camera is 5 Mega Pixels (2592x1944 pixels) with autofocus and LED flash. However, secondary camera is not available, a small limitation which I don't really mind as I do not like the opposite image by secondary camera.

The 2 photos above are taken by iPhone 4, the original size + quality, without any photoshop effect. These photos were taken without using any flash light too. As you can see, the image quality is comparable to those taken by digital camera. Now let's look at photos below...

Photo B above: When using flash light, the quality (without modification / photoshop) is better and quite comparable to iPhone 4, although the later still slightly better.

A Satisfactory Meal @ Sushi Tei, Tropicana City Mall

2 days ago I went to Tropicana City Mall with my younger sister to watch The Smurfs. After enjoying the hilarious movie,we decided to have dinner at Sushi Tei. I been to this same restaurant last year to treat my friend a dinner on his birthday, I remember the food quality was above average and quite expensive. As my sis has been craving for Japanese food for a few days, we decided to give it another try.

We stepped into the restaurant around 7.30pm, the usual dinner time for most of the people, so not surprisingly the restaurant was quite full. Initially we planned to sit around the sushi bar but already taken by other people.

As usual, I have my hot green tea (RM2). The waiters will refill your tea continuously without being requested, good service!

Potato Salad, a dish that I'll definitely order in a Japanese restaurant. RM7.80. (More expensive than Sushi Zanmai & Sakae Sushi)

Okosama Sushi- RM8.80 for this whole plate, a more economical choice

Specially requested by my sister- Special Unagi Roll, our favourite. RM27.80. This is expensive but super delicious, much tastier than Zanmai and Sakae, needless to mention Sushi King or Genki. The unagi was still steaming hot when served to our table, I could see the smoke. I believe they are freshly grilled upon customer's order.

iPhone or Android Phone? Maxis or Digi?

I've been using my Sony Ericsson k610i since 2007, I still remember the phone was bought after I got my 'tunggakan gaji' , thanks to the 40% salary increment for all KKM (Ministry of Health) staffs at that particular year.

I like this phone for its durable quality. It has been dropped endless time, onto a hard ground, into a basin of water (thank god it's clean) and been splashed with spilled water. I should be happy for it being able to function normally until... 2-3 months back where people start complaining they are having difficulties in calling me. This is not that good when people call you for urgent matters, or to call you out for a date, haha. But of course it's good when you have good reason if your boss complain that your are not contactable, haha.

Anyway, since then I've planned to buy a smart phone. iPhone 4 is still the best option for me because my sister and frenz have been using it and so far no complaints. The image quality is the best too among all the other smart phones. But up to now I still not sure which plan to sign up if I were to use iphone. I've been using Maxis for 10 years and quite satisfied with its service, but many friends keep telling me Digi plan for iphone is better than Maxis.

If I wanna choose a smart phone which is less costly, I'll go for Samsung Galaxy, and the plans for both cellular operator companies are equivalently good. But I still haven't make up my mind to buy which phone, to sign up for which company's plan, or shall I just get any of the smart phone without data plan??? Then how am I going to kill my time while doing locum, if there's no data plan for my smart phone? (The wifi at that area sux)... Maxis line at my locum area is weak too, but I still have to think twice if I were to use Digi as most of my family members and close frenz are using Maxis.... I dunno what to choose...

Today is a happy day for me, finally no need to be waken up by the irritating alarm clock.This is the only day of this week which I get to rest to the fullest! Tomorrow will be another hectic day for me, work from 8am to 10pm, have to cover methadone, OPD, stock receiving & extended hours.

This morning I went to One Utama with my sisters, my main aim is to take a look at the new outlook of Aeon Jusco. Aeon Jusco (besides supermarket) and part of the stores at Old Wing, One Utama, has been closed for half a year since February 2011 for renovation and upgrading. Jusco is reopened on 22 August and managed to attract many many customers since its reopening day, I believe is due to the Raya sales and attractive new outlook.

2 Days 1 Night Trip at Pulau Tiga @ Survivor Island, Sabah

I just came back from 7-days vacation trip at Sabah, another gathering trip with my uni time best friends. Needless to mention, we had an enjoyable and happy trip which is well-planned by kheng fui, the local sabah girl. This is my third visit to Sabah, but I've many more places yet to be explored. We joined a 2-days 1-night trip at Pulau Tiga a.k.a Survivor Island. Each of us paid around RM215 which include accommodation, 3 meals, free flow of coffee/sabah tea/milo, boat transportation from jetty to Pulau Tiga Resort.

Waiting for the boat at jetty... by the way, the jetty at Kuala Penyu is around 2 and a half hours drive from Kota Kinabalu, if I'm not mistaken

Finally here we are, Pulau Tiga!!! We were briefed regarding some simple rules & regulations on this island, and what activities we could expect of.

Survivor Island is a peaceful island and not too commercialized. If you are looking for an island which could give you total relaxation, this is definitely a good choice.

Before we had our lunch, we registered at the counter and headed to mud volcano. It's 1.2km from the resort, and the trail is quite ok.

The first volunteer from my group who jumped into the mud volcano. It's supposed to be good for your skin... free facial mask. == After 'dipping' the whole body into the mud volcano, we faced difficulty while walking back to the resort using the same trail. Before the mud get dried up, my legs were so slippery and couldn't grip well on my sandals!

After we had our lunch, we spent another 3 hours in the sea, the sea does not have colourful fishes like Pulau Sapi, but we enjoyed the peaceful moment too. Some of my friends who did not swim just spent their time lying at the seaside with books in hands.

After taking shower, we walked around the beach before dinner started. The view is superb, sunset at seaside is always nice, last year I got the same experience too at Bali.

Night activities at Pulau Tiga Resort -Pool (need to pay) or Karaoke (Free, but no chinese songs) We played cards instead...

The next day we went to Snake Island and Sand Pit, need to pay RM40 per pax but it's optional. The boat depart around 930am, and it's another 30min journey from Pulau Tiga.

Snakes hide under these rocks! But they are inactive in the morning, and that's the reason we do not visit the island at night, lol.

After snake island, we stopped by at Sands Pit. This is a paradise to us, looks more like an isolated island without any pollution. The sand is white and soft, and the water is crystal clear!!! We never expect to stop at this beautiful island, what a surprise to us ^^ We spent another one and a half hour in the sea, some tourists went for snorkeling too.

I'm lovin it ^__^

Around 12.30pm, we went back to Pulau Tiga Resort to take a shower, and say bye bye to this lovely island at 2pm...

Last week I took 2 days of annual leave to rest my soul & mind, after working non-stop and one-man show for 2 weeks to cover both OPD + methadone service. On monday I went for a day trip at Malacca with my ex-schoolmates, frenz since my primary and secondary time. On tuesday I slept until 11pm, surprisingly no calls fr clinic asking for pathetic questions. My sis ,who's also on leave, suggested to go for afternoon tea at Winter Warmers. I was delighted for that suggestion as I love the rose milk tea and sandwiches there.

We opted for afternoon tea for 2 persons. Add another RM1 to change to other beverages instead of the original black tea. I picked rose milk tea for sure, it's not too sweet and I love its refreshing rose aroma + silky texture.

Love the peace and tranquil atmosphere

Love the sandwich, cheesecake, cookies and chocolate cakes. The scones has vanilla flavour, but I don't really like it.

Sometimes we have to face lots of stress during work or encounter some challenges in life, in order to release tension, I'll pamper myself with a good meal and relaxing vacation, haha... This's called life!

Lennox Firm-Up Collagen Drink is BANNED by Malaysia Ministry of Health

According to the news for The Star Online and various local media, Lennox Firm-Up Collagen Drink is found to be contaminated with diethylhexyl phthalate (DEHP), a carcinogenic (cancer-causing) plastic additive!!!

"The Health Ministry has instructed Leton Products (M) Sdn Bhd to withdraw its products as traces of DEHP was found in one of its ingredients, a grape-flavoured concentrate from Taiwan that is produced by CZC Bubble Tea Supplier. The hazardous additive was also found in CZC's strawberry syrup." quoted from The Star Online.

Public is warned not to consume this collagen drink anymore as it puts our health at risk. All the leading pharmacies and beauty stores/outlets eg. Guardian, Caring, Sasa are required to stop selling this particular products as well.

ps: According to the news from Malaysia Ministry of Health Official Website, the batch of Lennox Firm-Up Collagen which is contaminated with DEHP is F1104001.

Miscellaneous Drug Company Gifts

I'm having holiday today, but I still have to receive many calls and settle lots of things regarding my kk,so boring. While trying to enjoy my 'busy' holiday, I try to tidy up my room too. There are 2 VIPs coming to my house next week, so I've to get rid of some unwanted stuffs to make my room look more tidy... eh hem, although it won't help much, hahaha...

While clearing my stuffs, I've to allocate some space to store those drug company gifts I received for the past few months. Those promotional items are obtained during drug company cme talks and seminar organized by Malaysian Pharmaceutical Society. Until now, I still haven't finished using those pens I got since 2008. I

Lots and lots of recycle bags... But I still forget to bring recycle bag for shopping on saturday, still have to pay 20 cents per plastic bag, hehe

One of those useful gifts, umbrella and sun-shield, I put them in my car now. More space for my room but less space for my small car.

I always get free sample of supplements too, essentiale, sangabion, coenzyme Q10, but I don't eat these kind of things...

Some towels... I've given some of these to my subordinates, and one of these towels is my 'blanket' when I sleep in my office during friday long lunch break...

Note books again... but I like the orange water proof toiletries bag, very useful for travelling... :)

My room is quite spacious now , but not sure how long can it last for... 2 days? haha

Experience as Retail Pharmacist Part 2

Yesterday was my first time of working full day as locum pharmacist, total 8 hours + 1 hour of dinner break. Surprisingly, I was quite enjoying this round and not as exhausted as I have expected. I guess because the permanent pharmacist was around for the first 4 hours.

There were 2 customers who approached me for glucose level testing, RM5 per test. I tested using Accu-Chek Performa system, the glucometer which I'm more familiar with.
One of the customer is a young handsome Malay guy, I guess in his early twenties. His glucose level was 17.2 mmol/L 2-hour after meal (postprandial). According to him, previously (one month ago) his postprandial level was 25 mmol/L, but he was then been told to try on one traditional complementary medicine ( he didn't manage to recall the med. name) and now the glucose level is much better. He's not on any antidiabetic medications and plans to continue consuming the trad. medicine. I tried to explain to him that his glucose level is still high and above normal range, he needs immediate medical consultation and appropriate treatment before diabetes mellitus causes any microvascular and macrovascular complications on him. In the end, the polite young man agreed and decided to seek treatment in private hospital for further management. I hope he keeps his promise and his diabetes can be under controlled soon. After today, I realized that public awareness on diabetes mellitus is still very low. Our ministry of health should put in more efforts to increase the awareness... Prevention is always better than cure!

Experience as Retail Pharmacist Part 1

Tonight I locum at Wellness Pharmacy as usual, but the parking lot was extraordinary packed with cars, and I swiped my card at 17.58pm, luckily could make it on time. As usual, customers came in and out continuously to ask for medications, supplements, beauty products etc.

I met a very polite and educated Japanese man who's in his mid-40s- I guessed. ^^ He just suddenly popped up and wanna buy the Beurer Upper arm blood pressure monitors BM58, without thinking much... The price is around RM390, near RM400. I was quite surprised as this German product is much more costly than brands such as Omron. Without asking for discount, he paid for this promptly and requested for me to test it.

This is the touch screen BP meter he bought, so sophisticated looking.

When I wanna open the battery compartment, I made a few attempts and failed. This's the first time I try using Beurer brand BP set, too used to the Omron brand. The nice customer then helped me to open it but facing some difficulties too. In the end only we realized there's another protector case on top and we have to slide it upward before opening the battery case, it is designed that way to prevent accidental opening of the battery case. I felt embarrassed that time, but he's polite and did not say anything. He also found the adapter port of this BP set which I didn't realize initially. Thank god I did browse through the Beurer brochures last time and know the difference between this and other brands. I then explained to him in details what other functions he could expect from buying this product. He listened carefully with a sincere smile... My conclusion is, I like to serve this kind of customer, haha.

Crispy Duck (Dirty Duck) @ I Made Joni & Gallery, Ubud, Bali

I like to eat roasted duck, especially when the skin is extraordinary crispy. Yesterday when I was having dinner, I suddenly think of the Crispy Dirty Duck which I had in Ubud, Bali last year. Before we went for Bali, I did some research online and found out that dirty duck is one of the Must-eat dishes in Bali. Most of the online bloggers recommend to try it at Dirty Duck Dinner restaurant.

When we were in Bali, my uncle who frequents Bali recommended I Made Joni & Gallery restaurant instead. Once I stepped into the restaurant, I was attracted by the decoration and comfortable surroundings. The weather was good that day, windy with some sunlight.

You can sit beside the paddy field to enjoy your meal. Need not to describe more, the ambiance is real good.

I ordered the signature dish- the famous crispy duck. I still can't forget the taste, it's so tasty and crispy that I wanna swallow the whole thing into my stomach, lol. Even the bones are so crispy that you can eat the small bones, yeah, it's true. I believe that it's made from many types of herbs & spices to give it the great taste. Crispy duck is not roasted like the chinese style and taste totally different, but it's also very delicious !

I love the relaxing feel in ubud, I like natures!

Recently my uncle told me Bebek Tepi Sawah is better, but I think is more costly. Hopefully when I have chance to visit Ubud, Bali again, I get to eat my favourite crispy duck again~

Lunch @ Ficelle Boulangerie & Patisserie

Ficelle Boulangerie & Patisserie is under the same management as Levain Boulangerie . Patisserie, and recently had its grand opening on the 6th May 2011. It is nearer to my house compared to Levain, but I'll say the variety of food and ambiance of Levain is slightly better.

There're only outdoor seats available at Ficelle, but we feel comfortable because of the strong fan and it's spacious.

Yummy pastries, buns, cakes etc. However I was quite disappointed for not seeing any pizzas or dark chocolate cutie buns. The pizzas I tried at Levain last time was simply irresistable.

Macaroons! You can even find durian flavour!

I love the mushroom soup! RM6.50 per bowl, no extra service charge or tax. I find the portion at Ficelle is smaller than Levain, but same price... Not sure is it true or psychological.

台湾行2011之花莲- 云山水自然生态园区- 梦幻湖

2011年的台湾之旅,我们把游玩的步伐放慢了. 相比去年的'赶鸭子'式行程, 这次我们着重于慢慢走慢慢看. 一直以来我都不喜欢走马看花的行程, 正好我们的花莲导游BLUE老师也是喜欢步调较慢的旅游方式,所以在花莲那几天我们都能真正地享受整个行程, 大大放松了因工作而紧绷的神经.

到花莲的第一天,老师帮我们安排了几个著名的观光景点,而我们也到了个景色优美,属于私人产业的地方走走及拍照. 听说那地方是因为台湾明星林依晨在那为黑松沙士拍了支广告而闻名,它就是云山水自然生态园区.

果然是是名副其实的梦幻湖,身在其中,犹如到了仙境般梦幻的地方.

云山水,贴切地形容这一副景色!

由于是私人产业,相信不是很多游客懂得怎么去到那里,所以周围很宁静,真舒适~

美得像副油画...

路旁也种植了很多树,看起来像椰树.

有些树木是被刻意种得歪歪斜斜地, 有艺术感.

台湾行2011之清境农场。青青草原- Taiwan Trip 2011 @ Ching Jing Farm

这次的台湾之旅，我们到了清境一游。在合欢山看了雪景后，BLUE老师载我们下清境住一晚。隔天早上，我们便出发到清境农场参观。由于我们去参观那天是周日，本来以为没机会看绵羊秀，但还是很幸运地看到了可爱的绵羊和牧羊人之间的互动。

清境农场，好兴奋呢，因为我喜欢绵羊。

这是看绵羊秀的地方。

黑绵羊在白绵羊群里。牧羊先生在现场请了位观众帮他分开不同颜色的绵羊。也有观众被选上台聊天，还要骑绵羊呢，我可没那勇气。

帮绵羊‘脱衣’，好可怜说。。。但牧羊人说它的身体有很厚和保暖的油脂，所以不会冷。。。

全裸的绵羊。。。

偶尔走失的绵羊群，工作人员要把它们追回来，真是卡娃依。

到附近的档口买纪念品时，又有群绵羊走过，一阵兴奋~

有人会在售卖机买些饲料喂绵羊，它们都很现实呢。没食物就别过头去。但偶尔也可以骗到它们转过头来拍照，哈哈哈。

教小孩子该怎么逗绵羊，喂些爱心饲料，呵呵

这只绵羊的表情真逗趣。笑容跟我的姐姐好像，嘿~

当然也有马术表演，挺不错的。四周的环境很宁静优美，适合拍照。

What do I expect of myself for the next 10 years?

I always come across this Q when I go for interview. I don't know how to answer this, because I still uncertain what is my real interest.

Should I stay with the government? I still unable to get the place I want, need to travel everyday and waste large sum of money for toll & petrol. Besides this, there are many more problems that outsiders don't understand, unless you are currently with the government. However, there are lots of uncountable benefits too, for instance is the flexibility in applying for holidays.

If I quit, shall I join retail? Currently working as part-time pharmacist at one of the community pharmacy. I find myself really dislike being a retail pharmacist... I couldn't imagine myself working at this line for the next 10 or 20 yrs.

Shall I join private hospital? I still think if I were to work as a clinical pharmacist or hospital pharmacist, government setting will be a better one. How about pharmaceutical companies? Wanna work as regulatory pharmacist but so far no offer yet. And I'm not sure how good is it to be a pharmacist who always look at act and regulation books + documentation.

I don't know what is my future... help~

台湾行2011之淡水- Taiwan Trip 2011 @ Dan Shui

今年的台湾行，我们把到淡水渔人码头看日落列为行程之一，一补去年的遗憾。今年我们的运气真不错，虽然抵达台北那天雨一直下个不停，气温还比想象中低好多，但接下来的几天都放晴，所以我们这次如愿的在淡水看到美丽的夕阳及日落。

抵达捷运淡水站（终站）后，我们转乘红26巴士抵达渔人码头。要称赞一下Angeline，因为她事前做了‘功课’，所以我们不像去年那样毫无头绪的乱走一通，省下不少时间。抵达渔人码头时还不到5点，但人潮已渐渐多了。天气非常好，凉风习习，偶尔会有点冷，但就喜欢那种感觉。

很漂亮的景色，有种宁静美。

有情侣在这拍照，真是诗情画意，呵呵。

此刻的夕阳很美。。。忽然想到夕阳无限好，只是近黄昏。我们本来在情人桥上拍照及欣赏风景，但当日落时刻快抵达时，我们也跟着人群走到码头。虽然人多，但大家都是放慢步伐慢慢走，不会你推我挤的。

民歌餐厅传来驻唱歌手的歌声，是许美静的‘城里的月光’，在那一刻听着这首歌，竟有种凄美的感觉，呵呵。

在渔人码头到处可见帮人画肖像图的‘画家’。。。

太阳快下山了，真舍不得。。。它由黄色变为橙色，然后是红色。。。

红色夕阳的底部开始泛白了，夕阳慢慢地消失，前后不到一分钟，太神奇啦~

看完日落，我们到淡水老街走走，吃了当地著名的阿给，再买了好多超重的土产才折返台北。下次如果再有机会到淡水，我想去红毛城，真理大学及淡水中学看看。。。

How to apply eye ointment or eye gel?

Yesterday I went to The Tun Hussein Onn National Eye Hospital for eye examination and being diagnosed as having eye inflammatory condition + dry eyes. After paying RM129, I went home with three types of eye medicine.

Allergan Prednisolone Mild 0.12% eye drop to treat the inflammation, 1 drop 4 times a day for 2 weeks. Alcon Tears Naturale preservative free, 1 drop 6-8 times a day for a month. Alcon Duratears Naturale for dry eye, to be used every night.

I don't know how compliant can I be... Apply so many different drops per day, and so frequent~ Actually I don't have any problem until I started using the eye ointment last night. Have counseled countless number of patients the ways to use eye ointment, but when I try to administer it into my own eye last night, I found some difficulties too! First, I've shaky hands! Friends who know me well sure know that I've shaky hands, not because I'm nervous or having hyperthyroidism, just born like that~ Second, I really dislike the blurry and cloudy vision after using the ointment.

How To Administer An Ophthalmic Ointment

1. Wash your hands carefully with soap and warm water.

2. Gently cleanse the affected eyelid with warm water and a soft cloth before applying the ointment.

3. In front of a mirror, with the affected eye looking upward, gently pull the lower eyelid downward with your index finger to form a pouch.

4. Squeeze a thin line (approximately 1cm) of the ointment along the pouch.
IMPORTANT: Be very careful when applying this ointment. DO NOT allow the tip of the ointment tube to touch the eyelid, the eyeball, your finger, or any surface.

5. Close the eye gently and rotate the eyeball to distribute the ointment. You may blink several times to evenly spread the ointment.

6. Replace the cap on the ointment tube.

After you apply the ointment, your vision may be blurred temporarily. Do not be alarmed. This will clear up in a short while, but do not drive a car or operate machinery until your vision has cleared.

Comments

* This is a sterile ointment. Contamination of the tip or the cap of the tube can lead to a serious eye infection.
* If irritation persists or increases, discontinue use immediately.
* Generally, eye makeup should be avoided while using eye ointments.

New Year- New Hope- New Task

Happy Chinese New Year to those who are celebrating this festival!!! Hope that this year of Rabbit will bring fortune and prosperity to everyone!!! ^^ Now I'm still enjoying my long CNY break after non-stop working for many days, even right before Chinese New Year I was still working, trying to purchase all the necessary medicines with the new budget.

2011 will be another challenging year to me, especially with the leaving of my another hardworking and good colleague + subordinate. Hopefully the one who is replacing her will be equally good or even better, pray hard! Anyway, I've submitted my transfer letter and waiting for good news, wish is a quick one! While waiting for transfer and enjoying my working + vacation lifestyle, I'm still keeping an eye on any suitable yet interesting job outside. I'll definitely go for it if there's better offer outside, with equally good benefit, haha.

And in 2011, I'll start my locum in Midvalley. Already got the approval from KKM and JKN, now waiting for the License A from enforcement. Should be able to start in March or April. Wanna gain some experience in retail and consider whether it's suitable for me... Btw, really didn't expect to get CNY greetings from the chief pharmacist of a well known chain pharmacies...2011, hopefully is a more meaningful, fruitful and lucky year for me, my family and frenz.

Today is a public holiday, how I wish there are few days of PH in a month! I'll be more motivated and happy at work, haha.Since I'm quite free today, I meet up with my fren @ The Curve for brunch and chit-chat session.

We decided to have our meal at Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. after much considerations, because my fren wanna try something special and not the ordinary pappa rich, sakae sushi...

It was still early and we get to sit inside. Flip the board to red and a waiter will stop for you. After we made the order, he reminded me to flip the board back to blue so he could continue carrying out other duties. @@ Quite a funny and creative concept.

I tried the mango sparkler @ RM11.90. It's expensive, but I love it! Mango + lemonade + ... (forgot exactly what's inside) sparkling juice, and not too sweet.

We shared a main course- Mama Fried Shrimp @ RM39.90. The portion is big for an Asian lady, but just nice when 2 of us sharing one.

The quotes on the wall are interesting, not forget the attractive interior design too.

All the prices above subjected to 6% gov tax & 10% service charge. Very expensive but worth a try once in a blue moon, or when I win lottery, lol

Have you ever heard of this website? Group$more, a site where you can get lots of discount (up to 90%) for food at new restaurant, treatment course, function etc. My younger sis recommend this site to me, and last week we went to Gelare Cafe at e@Curve to try the waffle voucher she bought.

The food and beverages there are costly, if not because of the discount voucher, I doubt I'll give it a try.

Last weekend,my family & I had dinner @ SS2, a place that I seldom go although it's near to my house. Those who stay or work in Klang Valley sure know that this place is always crowded with people and heavy traffic, especially when there is pasar malam (night market).

Anyway, after the dinner, I walked over to Wai Sik Kai to take away the yummy ice kacang as dessert. My family members love the ice kacang @ Stall 41 a lot, simply because it's delicious! It's very sumptuous with lots of red beans, jelly, corn etc. The ice is very fine and topped with my favorite gula melaka (brown sugar) syrup and evaporated milk.

Modesto @ The Curve is opened finally!!! Tried Modesto at Orchard Road, S'pore last year and love the thin crust pizza very much!!! Is the best pizza I've tasted until now.

50% discount for pizza and pasta during lunch hour! We chose Hawaiana, only one standard size- Large. 8 slices of pizza only for RM15.50. Unbelievable right??

Btw, this is for free, don't know what is its name. Very crispy with the taste of garlic bread.

The Pharmacists' Workshop on Ophthalmology- The Saujana, Kuala Lumpur

Last Sunday I attended this free Pharmacists' Workshop on Ophthalmology organized by CMPMedica & sponsored by Allergan. It was held at Saujana Hotel, on the way to Subang Airport. The workshop is very good since it caters for pharmacists only and cover a few topics such as glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, floaters, age-related macular degeneration, red eye, dry eyes etc. The speakers are eye specialists, ophthalmologist, chief pharmacist from International Specialist Eye Centre. I enjoyed this workshop because we just have to sit down and listen, no need to do anything and just to gain knowledge. Btw, the food provided is good, although the smoked salmon fish was too salty for my liking.

Sometimes I find myself very outdated after working for few years in the same kind of environment, especially being stuck at my current kk. I really do not understand why some people can work for 20-30 years at such an old kk without getting bored of it. Before I get my transfer or resign, I'll attend more of these workshops so I can meet new people, gain some up-to-date knowledge and improve myself. I don't want to become a pharmacist who only know how to dispense cough & cold mixtures. Luckily my kk still have a full range of list A medicines with the well-known FMS around, and I'm staying at Klang Valley area. My next plan is to start my locum asap, although I know it'll be challenging. Have to learn to deal with Caucasians, haha.

Last night my sis went to search for Tenji, Solaris as her company going to treat them buffer dinner there. Really envy those people who work for private, always get high bonus or complimentary dinner at 5star hotels and expensive restaurants.

Anyway, later on we went to dr. Cafe Coffee house for a drink. Heard that it's quite famous and serve the best coffee in the world ( a bit exaggerating), not sure how true it is. People who know me well definitely know that I'm never a coffee lover. However, I ordered a cup of ice mocha caramel (RM11.55 nett), just wanna taste how good is the coffee.

Ice Mocha Caramel- Look so 'kao', not bad, but honestly I don't know how to differentiate coffee, haha. For those people who don't fancy coffee like me, there're many types of cocktail and juices for you to choose from, an addition point compared to other well known coffee shops where you can only order coffee, tea or soda drinks. My friend tried a drink called Relax (RM10.50 nett), very refreshing, cooling and nice.

Very comfortable seats with cushion. Wifi available and the speed is ok. Snapped all the photos with my fren's iPhone 4. Really like the environment here, not too crowded & noisy like StarXXXks or Coffee Bxxxx, spacious, comfortable, good service...

Some people prefer to sit at higher level with ordinary chairs and table. More suitable for interview, business or career-related discussion, lol.

Suspected Dengue?

2 nights ago, I started to feel nauseated, stomach cramp, fever, chills, headache and generalized body ache. The body ache was so torturing that I couldn't sleep well, the feeling was like someone non-stop hammering you. The stomach cramp was unbearable too, but no diarrhea.

Yesterday morning I went to polyclinic to seek treatment, reluctantly. The pain was so killing that I walked like an old lady. I was not given any medications as the doctor knows that I've all the required medicines at home. Since I was suspected to have dengue, he told me to monitor my own body temperature regularly, and I bought the Wellmex glass mercury thermometer from his clinic. When I was at home and wanted to check my body temperature, I realized that the thermometer is damaged... The reading always at 38C even I tried to immerse it in a cup of ice water. >< But I was too weak and lazy to ask for refund from the clinic, whatever, just pop Paracetamol into my mouth when I feel feverish, I know it's subjective though.

The body ache already subsided last night after I've taken Ponstan. Now I've occasional fever, stomach cramp and nausea, but getting much better compared to yesterday morning, at least I could sleep well last night. Tomorrow going to my KK to do blood test, hopefully everything turn out to be fine...

Today I went to Fahrenheit 88 for the opening special of UniQlo, thanks to Uncle Lawrence, Uncle Jason & Aunt Chris for the 'offer'. We managed to get into the store easily, but I have to pay salute to those people who queued up patiently for their turns to 'maneuver' into the store.

Advertisement and banners are seen all over the corners.

Not all items have special offer. Most of the items with special rate are Fleece, UniQlo Jeans (UJ), UniQlo T-shirts (UT). I bought 4 pair of jeans with the special price of RM49.90/pair, usual price RM99.90. The quality is good, soft and light. Bought micro fleece too, but the design I like the most don't have my size, sigh. ><>

Look at this! Sign board for those people who are not sure where does the queue start and end! You have to queue for fitting room, for cashier. Btw, Amex is not accepted by the cashier counter.

You have to line up for at least 20minutes for the fitting room... so my advice is GRAB as much of clothes as you can and RUSH to the queue or else you have to wait even longer period.

Line up for cashier. There are 3 floors, so better pay at the second floor as the crowd of people is comparatively less.

Killiney, a kopitiam originate from Singapore has quite a few branches in Malaysia. There's one near my house at uptown, but I've never stepped into the restaurant before. It's opened before Village Park but not as famous, thus I always forget its existence.

2 weeks ago I went to Setia Alam, Shah Alam and had late lunch at Killiney. The Killiney kopitiam at Setia Alam is very spacious and comfortable.

Not many customers around as it was around 3pm.

First time dine in at Killiney, not sure what to order, so I simply picked a healthy drink, haha. Cucumber & apple juice, very refreshing and cooling.

Ice-blended corn drink, not bad but a bit filling.

Thai-style chicken chop rice.

This is what I ate- Killiney's Chicken chop with mushroom sauce. The chicken is very crispy and I especially like the thick mushroom sauce. The portion is not too big, just nice for me.

If you don't mind to wait slightly longer, you should try the chicken chop, it's really good. Overall the food at Killiney is better than Oldtown, and at cheaper price too. It doesn't have so many choices of dessert as compared to PappaRich, but worth a try too. I am not sure is it only me, but I always feel very warm when I'm at PappaRich, no matter which branch I go.

Snowflake Taiwanese Dessert 雪花栈 has its first outlet at Subang Jaya, Selangor. Recently there's another outlet near to my house, located at Kota Damansara. Last week after having dinner with Li Li and the gang, we walked to Snowflake from Sunway Giza, it took us about 5 minutes to walk there. Initially we decided to have dessert there, but we were scared away by the huge crowd of people, lol. There were no places for us to sit down and enjoy the dessert, and many people queuing up just to take away..

The next night I went back to the same restaurant with my sis and mum to eat the dessert, I purposely chose to go during dinner time to avoid the long queue. And it's true, not many customers were around so we could ask the cashier to recommend the specialty and bestseller. My sis and I chose the Grass jelly based snowflake and soya based snowflake.

This beeping UFO is for you to collect your order. When the red light is turned on, you can go to the back counter to collect the dessert.

Highly recommnended by Li Li, the soya based snowflake is much nicer than the grass jelly's. There is a great variety of toppings for you to choose from, and I quite like the above combinations. These are the kidney beans, black glutinous rice, grass jelly and Taiwanese 'pearl'. RM5.50

The bestseller grass jelly based snowflake. RM6.00. The sweet potato and yam balls same as those I tried in Jiu Fen, Taiwan, but my mum don't like these. She prefers the real, unprocessed yam and sweet potato, haha.

And I didn't add the milk into my dessert, I just simply cannot accept this, lol.

Bangkok Trip- T & K Seafood

On the second night, we took a cab from Baiyoke Boutique Hotel to Chinatown. The driver charged us 145 Baht, which is quite expensive because the journey only around 20 minutes. We could find T & K Seafood restaurant easily, maybe because it is famous.

All the workers in green attire. The restaurant is a corner shop and full of customers, very obvious from far. We choose to sit upstairs with air-conditioned, but many people prefer to have their meals outside the restaurant, at the roadside, maybe is just for the ambiance.

Fried omelet with oyster. The oyster is 'fat' and juicy.

Glass noodles and prawns. The taste of the glass noodles is superb! I even prefer it than the prawn, lol.

I don't really fancy the sauce, just an ordinary sauce to me.

Stirred fried vegetable

Fried rice with eggs, not bad, but I already diverted my attention to the glass noodle.

A must eat dish in Bangkok- Tom Yam. This is the type I like, not too sour but instead a bit sweetened, really goes well with the rice. We ordered Tom Yam seafood, and we were given a sumptuous amount of seafood, yum yum...

The whole meal was cheap, but I forgot exactly how much it was, around 800 Baht. I realized that at most of the Thai restaurants, the waiter will take back the receipt after we paid the bill, and I do not understand why they practise so.

Bangkok Trip- Coconut Ice Cream & Coconut Sorbet

Anyone tried coconut ice-cream before? Before my Bangkok trip, my uncle recommended a restaurant named Greyhound in Bangkok which is famous for its mini chicken wing & coconut ice cream. Although I like coconut drink and coconut flesh, but I only like the FRESH coconut and not ice cream made from santan (coconut milk). I still remember the Baskin-Robbins coconut ice cream which irritated me, yeah, the taste is so rich in santan and sweet that I only ate 20% of it., what a waste!

Anyway, I still hunt for coconut ice cream when I was in Bangkok, hoping that it'll satisfy my taste buds. When we were shopping at Chatuchak market, I saw a stall crowded with people, each of them holding a coconut shell on their hands. It's actually the famous stall which sells coconut ice cream at Chatuchak, some claimed that it's the first original stall which sells coconut ice cream, don't know how true it is. However, due to the heavy rain and cold wind, we decided not to try it, a bit regret now...

On the 3rd day of our trip, I saw coconut ice cream again at Amphawa Floating Market, this time we didn't miss the chance to try it.

And this is my coconut ice cream, or I shall say coconut sorbet. Only 20 baht for one, around RM2, cheap and good! The coconut sorbet is so delicious and cooling, it's made from coconut JUICE and not santan, so happy!!! Eat it with the coconut flesh and peanuts, heavenly good!

The next day when we back to Bangkok city, we had lunch at Greyhound, Siam Paragon. It's a Italian style restaurant but you can find thai food over there too. It's the most pricey meal we had for this trip, each of us spent around RM30-RM35, a bit like TGI Friday's standard.

Coconut sorbet, also very delicious. But the coconut flesh already blended with the ice cream, not big slices like the one we had at Amphawa. Around 65 baht for one. I would say this one has a slightly better taste and texture, but overall I still prefer the previous one, maybe coconut shell is the extra points. My aunt told me there's a good coconut ice cream at Siam Paragon food court, the topping is nangka (jackfruit), wow. But she only told me when I back to KL... sigh

And of course we ate the crispy mini chicken wing...

Bangkok Trip- Dinner at Fuji Restaurant, MBK

Just back from Bangkok yesterday, really have had a great time there. I'll say Bangkok is a shopping paradise for girls, haha. We could spend few hours in Naraya store, and I still regret for not buying more bags! Hopefully I can re-visit Bangkok as soon as possible, and definitely not in October for the next round, really don't plan to be caught in the rain.

Besides shopping, we did try some famous delicious food recommended by my friend and relative, and here goes my diet plan again, haha. On the first night, we had dinner at Fuji Restaurant, MBK shopping centre. We had to wait for around 15 minutes before seated.

It was dinner time, the place was quite crowded but the service was not bad.

Fake food being displayed. Look at the Fuji Bento Set, so nice! And the price is cheap, can't get such a sumptuous portion with this $ in KL.

Ice green tea, my must-order drink at Japanese restaurant. Fuji brand green tea, not bad.

Okonomiyaki, yum yum!!! Highly recommended by Sze Min, and I just can't stop loving it! Owww, I really miss the great taste, wanna hunt for it in Sushi Zanmai this weekend. Hope that it'll be equally good.

Takoyaki- Octopus balls. Taste good too! Only 80baht for this, unbelievable!

Pork Katsudon- my sis finds this quite tasty, but she still prefers the one she tried at Tampopo Restaurant, Takashimaya, Singapore.

Grilled Chicken with Mushroom Sauce. Pick 2 side dishes from 4 options, I chose french fries and apple coleslaw. I find the portion just nice for me, maybe is slightly small for male. The chicken is juicy and taste nice with the mushroom sauce. Added point given to the apple coleslaw, I like the slices of apple, very refreshing. RM13.90

I've heard of Full house cafe few years ago,and saw its first outlet at Niu Ze Xui, Ara Damansara. However, I've not stepped into the cafe before although I was attracted by its deco and concept. Why? Because it's always full house, just like its name. No wonder people always say name is very important as it might affect your luck, haha.

Anyway, tonight we went to Fullhouse Lifestyle Store and Cafe at Sunway GIZA Mall, an outlet which is much nearer to my house, although the other outlets at NZX and Sunway Pyramid also not that far. We've taken our dinner, so just to have a drink and light supper at Fullhouse. (Supper again, no wonder my slimming mission always fail...)

The set lunch is quite cheap for its ambiance and quantity served. I wanna try it next time. This restaurant reminds me of the 日出有大美&薰衣草森林 shop in Taiwan. As we sat at outdoor smoking area tonight, so I didn't get to snap photos of its interior design. The interior design is very attractive, but I'll leave it for my next visit to explore more.

Many people love the food there, I can't give much comment as I didn't order any food other than mashed potato. And I've to say that the mashed potato taste really GOOD!!! Highly recommended!

Pfizer Drug Talk @ KL Hilton

Two weeks ago, I attended a drug talk organized by Pfizer at KL Hilton, after being forced by Li Li. I never attend any drug talk before which held outside of my working place, except those slot in between conference or course. The main reason is I'm not a MPS member, and I also don't like to waste my weekends listening to those drug pushers promoting their companies' drugs. Especially those days when I still worked in hospitals, always bombarded by drug rep on how good & cost effective their products are. And always attend those cpd talks sponsored by drug companies, walked away with free pens, folders, secret recipe cakes, KFCs, McDs...

Anyway, since the drug talk was on a Friday night, and I've to pass by KL Sentral to reach home, so I decided to attend the talk. The talk was given by a Dutch professor from Breda, Holland and was regarding neuropathic pain. It's actually very informative and interesting, so much better than those given by so called product specialist or drug rep. The talk was mainly opened for medical doctors but any other healthcare professionals were welcomed. Vincent and Li Li are used to attending this kind of talk which always being held in KL 5 star hotels. For me, it's something new.

KL Hilton is really grand, duh, haha. I've to pay RM8 for the parking, but still ok since free buffet dinner provided. Now is the fasting month, thus refreshment provided too for buka puasa at 7.30pm. Although it's refreshment, but sandwich, fried noodles, soup, cakes etc were served, so much that I thought that was for dinner. After the one hour talk, buffet dinner time started. We tried almost all the food until I felt so guilty once I reached home, so fattening! There were tiger prawns, fish, octopus, roasted chicken, baked cheese potatoes, tom yam noodles and a lot more food as main course plus whole lot of dessert... Em I shall not attend this kind of talk too frequent or else I'll become super fat. ><
