Pharmacist = FarmAssist

Until today, pharmacist role in healthcare service is not widely recognised, especially in Asian countries. When I was studying in university, a taxi driver once asked me why do we need 4 years to get a Pharmacy degree. He thought that those ladies in private clinic who dispense medicines to patients are pharmacists. He even told me that's an easy job, just pack some medicines into plastic bags according to doctor's prescription. I was speechless. ><

Few weeks back, I lie down comfortably on my bed and reading a magazine. To my surprise, there are people who think that pharmacist daily routines are linked to farm. Pharm=Farm? So pharmacist = FarmAssist? Eh hem, so am I supposed to do farming in the hospital? Get myself involved in pest control programme during oncall hours? This is really interesting...

Kursus Induksi @ Rompin Beach Resort

Just came back from a 14 days course @ Rompin!!! Didn't online for quite a long time, and just realized that I have 1800 unread new emails an hour ago. ><

Let me share some photos taken @ RBR

This is the beach resort where we had induksi. The environment is not bad, with facilities like gym, swimming pool, sauna, karaoke etc. I enjoyed my stay over there, especially when get to hang out with many friends. :) Away from daily routine works is great!! :P

This's my room! It's facing the beach, just 1 min. walk from the seaside

Don't know what happen to the beach! Local people say is due to the monsoon which brings rubbish from the sea nearby

Strong ocean wave

Playing kite @ the beach, woo hoo~~

The food at RBR is ok, not very delicious but edible. However, there's one night where 29 of us suffered from severe diarrhea after eating steamboat prepared by RBR cook. Em, this won't be a good experience! Luckily there were many pharmacists with Lomotil, Buscopan, ORS, haha~ Sometimes we were bored of eating the hotel food, so we went out for seafood dinner. Seafood is cheap in Rompin, each of us spent less than RM15 for a table of seafood! Another food specialty is Mi Udang (prawn mee), it's very different from our chinese har min. The sauce is tasty and served with big prawns,so yummy!!! Have you tried carrot+lime juice before? I think that's the best juice in the world,slurrp, slurrp~~~~~~~

ps: the photos resolution aren't good, taken with my 2Megapixels handphone.

Night View At Shanghai

Have you ever been to Shanghai? I think it has the best night view, even nicer than Hong Kong, but this's my personal opinion and no offense to others. When I was standing at Waitan (外灘),Shanghai, I had this feeling that I was back to the year of 1920. There are many old buildings with eye-catching colourful lights, I love the atmosphere over there. 夜上海,夜上海,你是個不夜城。。。

This photo is irrelavant with my topic, but I would like to share with you guys. The 'ball' behind me is made up of CK jeans, yeah, real jeans! What a waste! And why is that 'creature' beside me naked? haha~~

I dislike Darlie Toothpaste

Why? Not because it's ineffective or with unpalatable taste, in fact I use it quite often-my second choice after Colgate. The reason is simple, it reminds me of someone!!! A person who is extremely & undoubtfully irritating + annoying! I wan to stay far away from him, as far as possible, STAT!

Some Forgotten Memories

I was searching for pix in my old pc when I suddenly found some old photos. Those photos were taken by me when I first reached Temerloh Hospital, the place which I received PRP training. I still remember how depressed & sad I was when I knew that I was posted to Temerloh. Where on earth is Temerloh? That's the first Q came across my mind. I was so hopeless and lost because I'm the only student from my batch who got that hospital.

During the first few days of work, I disliked my job!!! I couldn't communicate with people around me that well, maybe that's some kind of cultural shock? Everyday after work, I'll go back to the quarter and stayed alone, with mosquitoes flying around me.

The houseman quarter is big, one person per unit. Can you imagine how lonely I was?As time pass by, I managed to adapt to the new environment. I started to like the working atmosphere there- no politics and with many friendly colleagues around. I even applied to stay back in Temerloh Hospital after my training completed, of course the main reason is still its considered short distance from my hometown, hahaha.

Now I've been working for one & a half year in HoSHAS. Other than those projects which piss me off, I enjoy working as in-patient pharmacist. I like my colleagues because they always cooperate with me. Sometimes we go out for dinner together and chit-chat til sleeping time. I'm certain that I'll miss these moments after I completed my compulsory service. What can I do now is to treasure each moment we shared together.

If not because of these seemingly lonely photos, I wouldn't recall how sad I was back then. How silly I was, LOL~~

Gelato Fruity--> My Favourite Ice-Cream

I ate Gelato Fruity ice-cream tonight, that's my favourite!!! Yeah, I've said I want to go for diet & weight reducing program, but I failed, lol~~ I still eat as usual, or in fact I eat more. What to do? I always want to eat and stuff my stomach with food / snacks when I'm stressed. Since I'll be away from KL for more than 2 weeks (starts from 9/3/08), I shall enjoy now. Eat whatever I like, go wherever I wish. I'm certain that the place I'll go have no sushi king, gelato fruity,cinema,shopping malls,karaoke... How can I survive over there, luckily only for 2 weeks, phew!!!

Talking about Gelato Fruity, it's really very tasty. It's fat-free with 99% fruit and 95% dairy. Mango flavour is the best, I like the feeling when it melts in the mouth,yummy!!! The price is not that cheap, but affordable, just give it a try and I'm sure you'll enjoy it!

Mango + Strawberry yogurt--> RM8.90 (that hand doesn't belong to me ^^)
